Throughout my childhood and through the beginning of high school I only had a passive interest in music (other than concert band) until I began to see the light right around the 11th grade (late, I know). I quickly amassed a humongous interest for all things music and have continued to be thoroughly obsessed with music to the point that I cannot go anywhere without trying to identify every song I hear and often writing down lyrics or asking people nearby only to elicit stares of confusion. I’ve since matured to the point that I am comfortable imposing my obsessiveness onto others … and so here I am.

It started with a mixtape blog where I posted 7 bi-weekly mixtapes in just over 18 months (do the math). It was great but once I started as a DJ for Rainydawg Radio I unintentionally stopped posting mixtapes with the intention of posting my show archives but only ever posted one. Then, without having the initiative to figure out how to best post my archives, I joined a group of friends on Pownce to post random mp3s in an infrequent manner while putting up with their horrible download-completely-before-it-will-play flash music player. And now I’m here to pull all of those periodic habits into one place that I call Bleep Blip Bloop.
